Farly Finds: Six-Month Milestone
Reflecting on six months of makers, magic, and meaningful finds.
Following our launch earlier in the year, Farly has championed and celebrated a vibrant community of artisans, designers, and vintage curators. As the year comes to a close, let's take a look back at the talented individuals we featured, and the standout products that caught everyone’s attention.
Venetia Berry was a standout maker for her beautiful paintings and hand-painted ceramics made especially for the Farly edit. These included these stunning profile plate, which remains available and would make the most whimsical and striking piece of wall art.
Frances Loom owner Heather Kane gave us a glimpse into her wonderful home and produced this amazing kilim and shearling jacket for her Farly edit.
The Jam Jar Edit took us behind the process of creating intricate flower pressings from your garden, and curated a selection of framed flowers which would make affordable gifts for birthdays and special occasions, but also make a statement piece for any home when framed and hung en masse.
One Vintage got us ready for party season with a selection of high end and effortlessly glamorous vintage frocks and jackets, to really make you standout from the crowd, but also to fill your wardrobe with forever pieces which will last a lifetime.
Lucy Kent invited us into her studio in Wiltshire where all her pieces are created, she talked us through the inspiration and surroundings which inspired her collection of small works for the Farly edit. If you’re looking for an entry into buying art, these are a lovely place to start, and the calming palette works into nearly every interior.
This year, Farly strengthened its mission to support eco-conscious makers and small businesses, emphasising quality and sustainability in every offering. From exquisite homeware to thoughtful gifts, we’ve aspired to become a go-to for those seeking meaningful, curated items. Events and community are something which we’re passionate about here at Farly, and this side of the business is something we’re looking to grow for our makers and curators in the new year. Earlier this month we hosted our first charity fundraising event for Turquoise Mountain, which took the form of a classic Christmas lunch and pub quiz in the Pelican, Notting Hill.
This was a huge success and over £4k+ was raised, and we look forward to it becoming a firm feature in the diary for years to come. With more exciting collaborations and spotlights in the pipeline, 2025 promises to continue the tradition of celebrating makers, curators and craftsmanship. Here’s to another year of beauty, sustainability, and creativity!
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
With love
The Farly Team
